This week we have done many kilometres - by car. Ethan and I have been watching the speedometer rolling over and over. And still we have only gone from here to there, from there back to here. During the journey of this week it happened more than once that we ended at the same place we have been just hours before. In and out in and out of the car is a tiring experience.
As I sat thinking about me feeling tired up to my emotion. Allowing myself to just be and let the tiredness wash over me I had a thought or two.
This is the time I show the fruit of the SPIRIT. When the family want or need something, what is my inner thoughts then? When the phone rings, am I then someone showing kindness and friendliness? How much of this I show is directly related to how much I have allowed the LORD to live in me.
This is the time for allowing the LORD to extend me. The more I die to myself the more HE can extend me. (Explain that to a mind taken up by thinking!)
He chose me not because I was the best of the best. One who has what it takes to imitate the master, not at all. He chose me because HE is everything.
Even more of a puzzle, how is it that the more I choose to do what is GODLY the more refreshed I am.
Trying to think about GOD only brings me back to this one truth; GOD is GOD.
How grateful I am that HE chose me.

Once again, great post! Isn't it amazing how God takes all kinds of people and uses them for His glory? Only He could do that--He is truly EVERYTHING.

It is hard to always represent God even when we're tired, frustrated, or hurried, but that is when He can use us most! God uses us in many ways and mysterious ways and he uses all kinds of people as Joy said, because he is God and he can. :)
