Artistic?

Once too many I now have heard "I/my husband and I, are artistic/creative people" being used as an excuse to be late, untidy, or whatever else people think to make excuses for.When the only creative or artistic evidence one sees with these people are the way they make excuses.

Artistic is no excuse to be feather brained.

The reason I get irked by this, GOD created us to be like HIM. All of us has some or other way of being a creator. Artistic is not only with paint, clay and brushes.

Interesting how all want to be scientists and engineers, but so few are willing to go through the sweat of becoming that. Just adding those words to an occupation does not make one a clever person.
But artists are still an elite type of mystified personality!?

Strange is what I want to say.
