Faithful Friday #5

Joy, began Faithful Fridays as a way to share our Christian faith in the blogging world, in hopes that it would encourage others in their Christian walk as well. If you would like to share, please leave Joy a comment.

I  always struggle to speak my head ( I know mind) here. Not because I don't know what is there. When I see it written it either feels like a sermon or it must be irrelevant to others. To not even start thinking about the way the words are strung together, the tenses and all that.

Have never been able to take the everyday happenings censoring it of me being the accused or accuser and sugar it all up to look and sound wonderfully educational or even entertaining.

Now, after my health experience earlier this year, it is even more difficult to get my fingers to the keys.

One thing I have always tried to avoid is to 'warm the air'. Talking and talking just to say something.

This inability of mine could have so many meanings. It might be true that I'm not willing to be transparent, maybe I have not yet decided what flavour my rambles must have. Or even that I weigh myself and finding me to light in this world of blogging.

My prayer is let me learn to know when to speak and when to talk.

Something I think we all struggle with, Retha. I know most of my words sound like preaching...but they are my thoughts and my words and I try not to judge them according to what anyone else may say or think. We are only wanting to please our Lord & Savior and He will be our judge. Just my thoughts :o) !!!!

Thank you for participating in Faithful Fridays!

I know what you mean. I often don't know what to write about on my blog, but yet I want to write something.

God bless you!

Hi Retha!

I sometimes second guess that no one wants to hear what I have to say (especially concerning my Christian Walk), but I guess I feel like God meets me where I am. He knows how I speak and how I write and if he gives me something or lays it on my heart, I just do it the only way I know how. So I say if God lays something on your heart, just do it and do it the "Retha" way. How you write and what you say may speak to one; while what I say and write might speak to another.

Thank you so much for participating in Faithful Friday! Have a great weekend! :)

By the way, your son is so handsome!

Hugs,
Tammy
